
A graduate of the Western New Mexico Universities School of Social Work, Elizabeth has training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems, and Play Therapy. Elizabeth especially enjoys working with adolescents and teens, individuals with chronic health conditions, people with trauma, and people in life transitions. She is currently accepting clients ages 8+.

Elizabeth is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting people of all ages. As a clinician at Providence Alaska Medical Center, Elizabeth worked with elementary school students and their families in an integrated setting. Before that, supporting pediatric patients and their families through physical illness and healthcare systems. Elizabeth’s family moved to Alaska when she was four years old. In 2011, she and her husband moved to NYC where she worked to develop innovative approaches to family preservation, working with youth and families experiencing out-of-home foster care placement, and supporting families through their adoption journey. Elizabeth and her husband returned to Anchorage in 2021 to raise their family.
Elizabeth is grounded in her belief that people deserve the right to thrive through their lives. She loves walking with people through their journey and helping them work through challenges to live their full potential. She brings to her practice her authenticity, honesty, and empathy. When she’s not at work, Elizabeth enjoys being with her husband and children, and growing her backyard vegetable garden.
