Erin Mingrone, PMHNP

Educational Resume

Erin Mingrone was born and raised in Eastern Canada. She moved to the United States to attend university. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Work Experience

Erin spent 10 years working as a nurse in pediatric cardiology, hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant. While working in this setting she found that behavioral health was often overlooked, when it should have been an integral part of the treatment plan. She returned to school to get her master’s degree in nursing with a focus on Family Psychiatric and Behavioral Health at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. After graduating she worked in Missoula, MT for five years in an Urgent Mental Health clinic, before moving to Anchorage, which had been a lifelong dream. She is currently also working part time at Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center.

When she is not at work, she is often enjoying the many outdoor activities available in Alaska. She can often be found running in the mountains with her dogs.
