Ramzi Nassar, MD

Ramzi Nassar was born in Houston, Texas and spent his childhood in various locations both in the United States and overseas. He graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in International Studies and a minor in Chemistry from The American University in Washington DC. He completed medical school at Howard University, Washington DC, graduating in 1991. Then, he completed a residency in general adult psychiatry at Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland in 1995.
Work Experience
After completing his training, Dr. Nassar spent three wonderful, adventure-filled years working and living in Nome, Alaska serving the Norton Sound region. During this time he successfully completed his board certification in General Adult Psychiatry. In 1998, he moved to Anchorage and continued his psychiatric practice with Providence Behavioral Medicine Group. He served as the medical director of that group from 2004 to 2009. In September 2009, Dr. Nassar established his private practice and was the founding member of Alliance Behavioral Medicine.
Dr. Nassar is a Board Certified General Adult Psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
