Dr. Rachad Rayess completed his residency in adult psychiatry and fellowship in child/adolescent psychiatry at Harvard Medical School affiliated programs.
Dr. Rayess is double board certified (in child/adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry) by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Rayess worked in Alaska between 2010 to 2019 as an outpatient child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist. During this time, he provided telehealth and in-person psychiatric services to various communities across Alaska. Below is a list of some of these communities:
Between 2019 and 2022, Dr. Rayess worked abroad (in Lebanon) and then in Cambridge, Massachusetts as an inpatient child psychiatrist and interim medical director for the Child Assessment Unit at Cambridge Hospital. He held an academic position and trained Harvard Medical School students, interns, residents and fellows.
Dr. Rayess then transitioned to outpatient care at LifeStance Health, Inc. However, the pull of Alaska was too strong and so Dr. Rayess has relocated back to Anchorage with his family.
Dr. Rayess maintains an active Massachusetts medical license and continues to care for MA patients.
